I\u2019ve struggled with speaking English for many years. I\u2019ve taken lessons with many teachers, but for the first time, I\u2019ve continued classes regularly with someone for such a long period. Cheryl makes you feel truly comfortable with her communication style, so I always feel relaxed during our lessons. Our lessons feel natural and enjoyable, and sometimes I don\u2019t even notice how time passes. While I\u2019m speaking, she listens carefully and then gently corrects my mistakes afterwards. I was stuck at the same level in English. I knew I made many mistakes in various areas, and it was really hard for me to express myself fluently in English. Cheryl really helped me with this. She is an excellent listener and follows her students very well. She makes me feel comfortable when speaking English and gives me advice on how to improve. Before taking English classes with Cheryl, I didn’t feel comfortable having a conversation. I was scared of not speaking well enough and making mistakes. Cheryl’s lessons really helped me out a lot. Thanks to her, I can speak without fear. Her lessons are interactive, she makes me feel at ease and covers interesting and current topics. If you have any specific topics you want to discuss, you just have to say it and she’ll adapt. In addition to being competent and attentive, Cheryl is very funny and friendly. Like many Chinese adult students, I have always struggled with English pronunciation. Luckily I got help from Cheryl, who corrected my pronunciation, word by word, and coached me about word linking and stressing.
