What date, day, time, or event? If so, use &#8220;since&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Examples:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>&#8220;I have been living here <strong>since<\/strong> 2010.&#8221; <\/em><br> <em><span style=\"color: #dc1414;\" class=\"stk-highlight\">(When did you start living there? In 2010.)<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>&#8220;She has been studying <strong>since<\/strong> 8 AM.&#8221;<\/em><br> <em><span style=\"color: #dc1414;\" class=\"stk-highlight\">(When did she start studying? At 8 AM.)<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>&#8220;The cat has been hiding <strong>since<\/strong> the guests arrived.&#8221; <\/em><br> <em><span style=\"color: #dc1414;\" class=\"stk-highlight\">(When did the cat start hiding? When the guests arrived.)<\/span><br><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8220;For&#8221;<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;For&#8221; is used<strong> <em>to refer to<\/em> <em>the duration of time<\/em><\/strong><em> <\/em>an action or event has been happening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Can you answer the question; <em>How long has the action taken place? <\/em>How many hours, days, months, or years?
